A lot of backyards in the Cumming area deal with the same problem - patchy grass, muddy spots, and ground that just never seems to cooperate. When you've got tall trees throwing shade and roots competing with everything trying to grow, keeping natural grass looking decent is a losing battle. That's exactly the kind of situation where artificial turf makes a lot of sense.
This backyard had real potential. Good size, a nice wood deck to step out from, and solid fencing that gave the space definition. What it needed was a ground surface that could actually keep up. We installed residential artificial turf across the full backyard area, fitting it cleanly around the natural grade of the property and up to the existing landscape borders.
The result is a surface that stays green, stays clean, and holds up to whatever gets thrown at it - kids, pets, foot traffic, you name it. No watering, no mowing, no reseeding bare spots every season. Just a usable backyard that looks sharp without the ongoing work.
What we really like about this one is how well the turf works with the natural surroundings. The wooded backdrop and fencing give it a great look, and the turf ties the whole space together without feeling out of place. It's a practical upgrade that also genuinely improves how the yard feels to spend time in.
That's the thing about a well-done turf installation - it's not just about aesthetics. It's about actually getting more use out of your outdoor space. If your backyard isn't living up to what it could be, this is the kind of work we do every day.
