Full Backyard Overhaul with Artificial Turf in Alpharetta

This Alpharetta backyard had a lot going on - a multi-story home, a sloped yard, shaded areas, and an under-porch space that needed to actually work for the homeowners. Getting all of those elements to feel cohesive takes more than just laying down some grass and calling it a day.

We went in with a full plan. Fresh plantings, paver work, a turf grid system under the covered porch area, and a large artificial turf installation across the main yard. Each piece was designed to connect with the next, so the finished space flows naturally from one area to another.

The turf grid under the lower level of the home is one of those details that makes a real difference in livability. That kind of under-porch space usually ends up as wasted square footage - muddy, dark, and ignored. With the right system in place, it becomes usable outdoor living space year-round.

The artificial turf across the yard itself stays green and clean no matter what the weather is doing. No irrigation headaches, no muddy patches after rain, no dead spots under the tree canopy. For a yard this size with this much shade, it was honestly the right call.
